Generational Washbasin
with E.C.A. Serel ready for today and tomorrow

Barrier-free bathrooms that are intended to serve several generations require products that offer timeless, modern accents. Let the children today and the seniors tomorrow benefit from the most innovative bathroom ceramic, which could not make your customer’s bathroom any more flexible.

The multifunctional washbasin by E.C.A. Serel offers optimal comfort at any height. Two fittings can be integrated, of which the lower one is very easy to reach and can be controlled easily by kids as much as by people – while the upper one can be optimally used by an upstanding adult.

If you, as a professional, assemble the washbasin for your customer, the DIN standard 68935 applies in Germany:

  • Height: 82,5 – 95 cm

The value result from the average German person:

  • For the average German man (180 cm), the basin is mounted at 90 cm
  • For the average German woman (165 cm), the basin is installed at 82,5 cm
  • With these two as a pair, the mean value of 86,5 cm is used for the basin height

If you are installing a washstand for a rented apartment of public areas, ideally you should use the mean value of 86,5 cm. For children, installation heights between 55 cm (3 years) and 80 cm (14 years) apply, depending on their age. And for usage while sitting, it is important to leave the washbasin accessible gtom below, i.e. not to build any base cabinets and to set the reference value for the upper edge no higher than 80 cm.

The multifunctional washbasin from E.C.A. Serel worked out how to get the most of it. The standard values are optimal for standing, sitting as much as for our little ones and implemented according to the highest aesthetic and functional requirements. With a single drain and an optimal surface texture, this washbasin can be cleaned easily and retains its shine for generations.

For your customers to share their favorite place with those they love the most.
