The smallest from E.C.A. Serel
They are available in large and small, with thick bellies and of course in slimmer versions. We're not talking about catwalk models, but sinks from E.C.A. Serel. The stage is your customers' bathroom and it has to fit in there like a perfect match. Sometimes the mini format is enough for hand washing, sometimes it has to be the larger washbasin for morning face cleaning and other bathrooms need the twin-versions for shared use. Today we take a closer look into the little ones.
The hand basin – E.C.A. Serels "tiny ones"
They are approx. 30-55 cm wide, approx. 35 cm deep and, depending on the thickness of the abdomen, up to 18 cm high. And even if there is little space in your customer's guest bathroom anyway, a certain distance should be maintained, which on the one hand provides freedom of movement and on the other hand the optical generosity. E.C.A. Serel therefore recommends planning a distance of 75 cm in front of and to the side of the basin, even for small bathrooms.
Height of attachment
The German Institute for Standardization (DIN 68935) recommends a height between 85 and 95 cm. This applies to rental apartments and public buildings. The height means the distance between the floor and the top of the basin.
Individually and especially tailored to your customer
Customers are particularly grateful and value the quality of advice highly if the dealer or installer can make an individual adjustment to the customer's height. Nothing easier than that! The rule of thumb is: mount the washbowl at half the height of the customer.
